Hello and welcome to HORRELL’S School of Motoring, a driving school dedicated to making the long awaited task of obtaining your full UK Driving licence a fun and enjoyable experience. I’m Adam Horrell a Grade A, DVSA Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) and my focus is to give the most up to date modern teaching techniques whilst making learning fun, steering away from the stigma of dull mundane lessons.
HORRELL’S School of Motoring covers the Newton Abbot and Exeter areas bringing tailored lessons to your door at competitive prices. I’m experienced in teaching anyone of any age group, whether you’re a first time novice starting on the road to success, a partly trained learner wanting to build on your current knowledge to help you obtain that driving licence or a full UK licence holder who wishes to brush up on their ability to keep up with modern techniques and the constantly changing driving environment we find ourselves in. My focus is simple…. to work on the most important thing…. Your needs!!
The world of driving has changed so vastly over the years that to some it feels like more of a chore than a skill to be enjoyed. HORRELL’S School of Motoring strives to make learning fun whilst maintaining the most important part of driving, road safety. The UK Driving licence isn’t just a path to your freedom within your lifestyle but also asked for by most employers improving your ability to successfully obtain that job you’ve always wanted.
Lessons can be started at 16 at the Devon Driver’s Centre at Westpoint, Exeter or on the road from 17+. Further training can be obtained after getting your licence with Motorway lessons or the PASS PLUS. PASS PLUS
HORRELL’S School of Motoring is PASS PLUS registered offering you the course to improve your ability in all aspects of driving disciplines. A 6 hour course designed to help you improve your basic driving skills and knowledge to a higher level. Most helpful in the first year of driving it can also lower your insurance helping you get in the seat of your first car. It can also be utilised by drivers of any level of experience to help improve your knowledge of the modern road systems and all weather driving.See the PASS PLUS page on this site for more information.

Why wait until you turn 17!!!! HORRELL’S School of Motoring provides off road, tailored driving lessons at the purpose built road complex at the Devon Drivers’ Centre, Westpoint, Exeter. Build your ability and confidence in a safe, controlled environment before taking to the road at 17.
LEARN AT 17+
On road tuition!!! Available from 17+, it’s never too late to learn!!! At HORRELL’s School of Motoring on road lessons are tailored to your needs. Wether you’ve taken advantage of the off road driving lessons at Westpoint and want to progress on to the road or have just obtained your Provisional licence and want to learn the skills required to obtain your Full UK licence, HORRELL’s School of Motoring tailer the lessons to your individual needs.
DRIVER DEVELOPMENT
Part way through your learning or maybe a fully qualified UK Licence holder??? HORRELL’s School of Motoring can tailor your lessons to complete your learning to obtain your licence or maybe you already have your UK Licence but feel you want to improve on your driving ability to be more confident and more able on the road. HORRELL’s School of Motoring is happy to help building your ability no matter your needs. I also specialise in Nervous learners and Anxiety behind the wheel, everything is possible to achieve your goal, there’s no task too big!!!!!
